Privacy Policy

Wrendit is run by a small team, and we keep this simple: we only collect what we need to do the one job you came here for, and we never sell your data. Here's exactly what we hold and why.

What we collect

• Your email address — so you can sign in and we can send you account emails. If you sign in with Google, we also receive basic profile info from Google.
• Your resume — the text you paste or the file you upload.
• The job description — the posting you paste in, or the posting your browser extension reads (see below).
• Your saved CV (optional) — if you tick “Save this CV”, we keep its text, and your generator defaults (type, tone, language), in your account so you don't have to upload it again.

How we use it

We use your resume and the job description to generate your application package. To do that, that text is sent to the Claude API (Anthropic), which produces the tailored output. That's the whole purpose. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone beyond the providers that make the product run — Anthropic (the AI), Supabase (accounts and database), and Dodo Payments (payments). Nothing goes anywhere else.

Where it's stored

The packages you generate are stored in Supabase, linked to your account, so you can come back and find them. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as our Merchant of Record — we never see or store your card details.

The browser extension

If you install the Wrendit browser extension: on the job sites it supports, it checks locally in your browser whether the page is a job posting, so it can show its button — nothing is sent at that point. It reads the posting text and sends it to Wrendit, together with your saved CV, only while you have the panel open or when you click the button, to generate your package exactly as if you had pasted it in. It does not send other pages or your browsing history, and it does not run on other sites. The extension signs in with a revocable token stored in your browser; you can disconnect every extension at any time from the connect page.

Cookies and measurement

We use a few first-party cookies: one keeps you signed in, and two help us understand which of our own links and emails bring people to Wrendit(the campaign tags in the link, the site you came from, and a random visitor id kept for up to 13 months). Links in our emails carry a code so we know which email a click came from. We use this only to measure our own marketing: no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Deleting your data

You can delete your saved CV yourself at any time from the generator (“Delete saved CV”). To have everything deleted, email support@wrendit.com from the address on your account and we'll remove your account, your saved CV and your stored packages. A quick note: don't paste anything into your resume you wouldn't want processed by an AI (like ID numbers) — you're in control of what you submit.

If this policy changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top.
